Prop. 15 is the largest state-level investment in cancer research and prevention ever made. The $3 billion dollar investment in cancer research and prevention sends a loud and clear message that Texans are united in the fight against cancer.
This investment represents:
- A 10-fold increase in funding for cancer prevention and early detection in the state of Texas
- A historic investment in cancer research that will attract leading researchers and spark new innovations to save lives in Texas and across the globe.
This victory was achieved thanks to the commitment and work of all the members of the LIVESTRONG Army Texas. Together, we have sent a clear call to Texans as well as national leaders that it is time to make real investments in the fight against cancer.
