I'm telling you, more and more I'm hearing from people who just open up and honestly share their true thoughts. I think they're doing so because when we're talking even without knowing me or my history, they sense that's it's okay to be real. We're spirit beings and that's spirit-to-spirit communication going on. So if you've been feeling BEAT DOWN and are WEARY and DISCOURAGED and have had thoughts to just forget your hopes and dreams because it's HOPELESS, I've got some words for you to think on. From one who just about lost it all and has been mired in these kinds of thoughts, I KNOW! I KNOW!
"For I know the plans that I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you," declares the Lord, "and I will restore your fortunes..."

It took me several years (yes, I'm sorry to say years....hard headed sometimes) to get it. We must DO SOME THINGS to climb out of the pit. We must call upon, pray, and seek God. I know it sounds simple. Actually, it is. We just have to do it and do it consistently. When we do this, things will begin to change. The clouds will begin to clear.
Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don't try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God's voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he's the one who will keep you on track. Don't assume you know it all. Run to God! Run from evil! Your body will glow with health, your very bones will vibrate with life! Honor God with everything you own; give him the first and the best. Your barns will burst, your wine vats will brim over. But don't, dear friend, resent God's discipline; don't sulk under his loving correction. It's the child he loves that God corrects; a father's delight is behind all this.

I've made some huge mistakes over the years. I've blown it over and over. On this, I get it right. He really does restore our souls....even on this side of the life adventure.
